Mission Statement. The Colorado Chinese Language Teachers Consortium (CCLTC) is devoted to advancing quality education in Chinese language and culture at all levels in the state of Colorado. CCLTC is a non-political, non-profit, educational, and professional organization that represents the interests of a wide range of students, teachers, and community members, including individuals from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds who are interested in promoting the study of Chinese language and culture in Colorado. CCLTC supports and encourages the advancement of scholarship and professional development of its members. It serves as a forum for Chinese language educators in Colorado to communicate, network, share resources, and disseminate information. CCLTC is also committed to sponsoring statewide workshops and activities for students at all levels.

关于我们 About Us 2007 年 5 月 19 日, 这是一个五月的春天，阳光明媚，春意盎然。近四十位中文教师聚集在 UCD, 畅谈科州中文发展形势和 需求。这些教师有的是 CU，UNC 的中文教授, 有的是美国初高中和小学的中文教师，有的是社区中文学校的中文教师，及丹佛孔 子学堂负责人。 肩负着推动科州中文教育事业发展的使命， 参会的教师对中文教育在科州的发展进行了讨论，科州中文教师协会 宣布正式成立了。科州中文教师协会是一个非盈利性教育组织， 宗旨是推动中文教育在美国主流社会的发展；联合，组织，培训 中文教师，建立科州中文教师信息共享网络；与科州政府教育机构，科州世界语教师协会积极合作，为建立中文教师资格认证， 执照考试，做出重要贡献；支持帮助美国学校中文课程的开展；支持社区中文学校的发展；组织开展学生活动，建立宣传推广中 文及中国文化的平台。 参加会议的老师讨论产生了第一届理事会，由会长，副会长，财务，秘书及各个所属委员会负责人组成。科州中文教师 协会下属委员会包括：中文教师资格认证推动，中文教师职业培训，学生中文及文化活动开展， 以及筹款募捐。理事会成员都是 义务志愿者，他们是科州中文教育事业发展的希望和栋梁。协会下属各委员会当天分组讨论了今后的工作打算。 科州中文教师协 会将活跃在科州中文教育事业的舞台上。 科州中文教师协会由 CU 多媒体语言教学中心主任，中文教授张冠怡及 UNC 中文副教授 刘洁贞召集，会议对两位教授的领导工作表示感谢,并感谢来自社区各个中文学校的赞助和支持。 DCSD 学区的中文教师 Catherine Channel 介绍了今年全美首次 AP 中文考试的情况， 科州在 CCSD 学区设有一个考场，明 年将在 DCSD 增设两个考场。Catherine 强调了学习拼音的重要性，AP 中文考试全部采用电脑听说，文字阅读，和拼音回答的形 式。Catherine 告诉大家 DCSD 学区现有 5 名中文教师， 明年将聘用更多的中文教师。在科州推广发展中文教育事业是一项长期的 团队工作。参与此项工作是每一位中文教育工作者的义务和荣誉。组织起来，信息共享，互动支持，提高科州中文教师队伍的素 质，将加快科州中文教育事业的发展步伐。科州中文教师协会欢迎所有致力于科州中文教育事业的人士参加协会。
